FAQ:

• 40 hours per week (including class time)
• 5 day work week (including class)
• Classes are on Mondays from 11am to 7pm
• The salons are open Tuesday through Sunday
• Assistants will work at all 3 locations
• Upon completion of program, Art+Science will determine final placement of stylist/colorist dependent on need in salons

Benefits:

• As an Assistant:
  • After 120 days, assistants are eligible for medical and dental coverage, as well as 401K (with no employer match)
• As a Stylist/Colorist:
  • Medical and dental coverage
  • 401K program with employer matching
  • 1 week paid vacation after 1 year on the floor
  • 2 weeks paid vacation after 3 years on the floor
  • 3rd week vacation unpaid after 7 years on the floor

Careers/Extra info:

• Contract signed the 1st day of work
• 3 year contract
• If an assistant leaves within 3 years of employment (after a 60 day grace period) they are obligated to reimburse Art+Science for a portion of their education expenses
